2. Efficacy Test
Sun Protection factor (SPF) is the definitive measurement of the effectiveness of any sunscreen product.
This test consists of evaluating the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) which expresses the sun protection level of a sunscreen product through UVB spectrum, using an appropriate substrate on which the product has been spread and measured by means of a spectrophotometric method.
Similarly, UVA protection for your Sunscreen formulation can also be tested by In vitro methods.

Normally we need to re-apply Sunscreen every 2 hours, however, recently Long lasting Sunscreens and One time application Sunscreens have been launched.
At C.L.A.I.M.S. PVT. LTD. we have an unique instrument which can assess the long lasting effect of your Sunscreen and help substantiate your claims.
SPF formulations by virtue of ingredients present therein can be sticky and heavy on the skin. This can be a major deterrent for consumer acceptability.
We at C.L.A.I.M.S can help you to methodically evaluate your SPF formulation for various sensory attributes, this will done using ASTM methodology for sensory evaluation and/or consumer research using well –defined set of questionnaire to understand likes and dislikes for various product attributes can be carried out at our facility.
